Historic Route 66 boasts some unusual sights, and the tiny town of Groom, Texas, is no exception. Its two claims to fame are a leaning water tower and a supersized cross.
Visible from 20 miles away, the Cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ is 19 stories high and almost 200 feet tall. Less visible from the road are its beautiful, life-sized bronze sculptures depicting the Stations of the Cross in exquisite detail.
May these powerful images speak to you and may the Lord bless you on your journey through them.
